    Default my first bulbophylum phalaenopsis!

    it's just a wee little thing but it caught my eye as i was trying to rush out of the market and HAD to have it! wish me luck!

    Good luck. I have had one of these for several years with leaves that are 3 feet long and still now blooms. The thing grows and grows and grows. It is huge now. I move it around to get more sun, and it turns reddish and I think - man, this is gonna be the year!! - but then it just grows another bulb. Good luck to you with this one. For me, it is truly a lesson in patience.

    Shane; ain't they cute!? I just purchased a Bulbophyllum smitnandii about a month ago. It seems to be growing fairly well and rapidly in semi-shade and loves water.....................in my case every other day. I look forward to your pictures when in bloom. AL
