Default Blc. Toshie Aoki "Starburst" AM/AOS

I have three of these. They are beautiful and my oldest one blooms twice a year. These two that are blooming now are first time bloomers. The two in bloom now were two that I bought as a 2 for 1 auction about a year and a half ago. Both are grown side by side and get the same care and yes sometimes neglect. I find it interesting how the size of the blooms differ on the two plants and also the poor placement of the blooms on the smaller plant. The flowers are still lovely but really have no scent to speak of. I love the vivid coloration on this one.

Wow Bill! Splash petals usually aren't my thing, but I would make an exception for these! So vibrant!

Gotta love the darker one. It is interesting how each plant differs. I have seen this in a few of mine as well.

    Hi Bill
These are really beautiful, I love the colouring and the frilly lip. Congrats.
I have given up on getting any plant that has a tag with " Aoki" in the name, to thrive for me. I know not why. I beleive I have had a Blc. and a Den. or two and all have bit the dust.
    Yours are gorgeous.
    Cheers
