Hi,
This is a sweety that I have had since it was a seedling. Also found one of its pod siblings on a sales table so both are now mounted on a piece of cork.

The plants have finally got big enough to flower, and did so in January this year. These are grown in intermediate conditions with good light but no direct sunlight. Over summer they are put in my green house, but in the autumn are retrieved and put in a warmer area to over winter. They are misted regularly and only get a very slight winter rest when the root tips de-activate.

What a wonderful color - such a light violet. They look so delicate! Do they have a fragrance?

Hi Diane,
The violet colour is a trick of the light. The flowers are a glistening white and like all angraecoids, are scented at night to attract their moth pollinators. I have a personal theory that the flowers are white to ensure visibility for moths seeking the source of the heavenly sweet smell emitted by these orchids. Imagine these plants on trees in Africa at the full moon. Would certainly be something to see and remember.

Lovely looking flowers and plant Misty. And yes, imagining the sight of this glistening from the light of the moon sounds like a holiday waiting to happen. I am so getting into spurs.
