Default What kind of orchid is this? Oncidium?

Got a new Orchid today from a box store, any ideas what he could be? I am thinking an oncidium of some sort? Of course he was labeled a very helpful "E-Z Exotic Orchid".

    Possibly an Odontocidium.

I think Roy's right. What ever it is, it looks healthy, happy, and the blooms are beautiful. Nice purchase. AL

Had a search around, it 'could' be Odcdm Tiger Crow. There is a Tiger Crow 'Golden Girl' AM/AOS that is extremely close. The markings are slightly different but this happens with mericlones of this genus.

He looks very close to a 'Golden Girl', although I doubt I was lucky enough to grab an AM/AOS orchid at a box store LOL. He looks very happy in his new home, I will treat him like other Odcdm's. Thank you all!

Just because it has an award doesn't mean it can't be bought in a box store. There isn't any money in just selling a plant as an awarded plant, the money is in mass production & bulk sales. Thats why the box store buy.
