I was cleaning my shadehouse this morning and was about to toss this coco shell into the bin when I noticed something green inside. I looked and there is these baby plants, 2 of them sprouted from the single live root that was the only thing left of my Phal stuartiana. The mother plant died almost a year ago, last winter I guess because I neglected to bring it indoors. This should have been tossed into the bin months ago but I was busy.
I don't know if the tiny babies would survive their first winter, with no mother and me going to be busy again.....

I think going forward I will keep all apparently dead plants until they blow away with the dust.
