Well, this is not my best picture of her, but I just realised that the last of her flowers is up and she dropped 2 leaves already so it must be time to show her up the way she was 20 days ago

Ladies and gentlemen...this is how much a rather young Lycaste can actually bloom

I love this species so big flowers and usually nice smell can grow in lowland but no flower, yours very pretty Laura.

Lasioglossa is unfortunately one of the very few of the species that is unscented. Not that I care, heck, I fiddled with regular supermarket phals for years and those are unscented

I have a Ly. skinneri which if I am lucky should bloom for the first time next autumn!! - So excited. It is just forming it's pbulb right now. Yours is a beaut!

They bloom like there's no tomorrow, I'll see how she does during winter. I want to post pics om my 100% home growm ones next year (tho' can't complain, there is nothing like an orchid freshly bough in spike to go bleaaaaah in a matter of hours if you sneeze on it
