Paraphalaenopsis labukensis 'black beauty'/light requirements

I am finding widely differing prescriptions on the amount of light required by a Paraphalaenopsis labukensis:

I have had this orchid several months and have had it in dappled shade. It does not show even the slightest hint of any new growth, though it's not showing any distress either.

Any cultural advice on this orchid would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

Well, personally I prefer moving my phals in the south window during winter, otherwise they are basically just salad. Nothing will move/happen in the next year.
And if you are in Oslo as I suspect...ummmm... the day is too short for orchids, give it more and use common sense, the leaves are supposed to be light green. Hope you have it suspended, it is a pendulous plant and it will want a mount or a reclining basket.
