Lc. Chia Lin x Blc. Love Sound 'Pink Sherbet'

Feels like it's been ages since I've had any orchid photos to share, but I snagged this little one to fill in the 2 weeks before we leave for Puerto Rico () I confess I didn't OWiz this hybrid clone, so I've no idea whether it's been registered, but I suspect not. I DO suspect that the Lc. and Blc. have been changed - would it all be just C. now?

Anyway, I lost track of time today and lost my available light before I could shoot this subject - sooooo.... I tried some tricky (?!?) backlighting and I'm not sre whether I like it. The colors kept changing on me. Anyway, here it is - I'll post some more once I have light again.

Thanks, Kathi! Yes - definite dowiana, but it's a small bloom, so that didn't jump out at me right away. Thank you for the info.

Love the lighting - adds radiance to the blooms. Great shots Maura! The dominance of the Love Sound yellow is very evident in this catt but I really like the the Chia Lin colour in the lip..A beautiful catt.
