    Default the baby spike on my blue vanda dried off

    Hello everyone
    I was so happy 2 weeks ago when I discovered that my blue vanda ( the first I bought this summer) had a small spike between the leaves
    I kept the same conditions fo watering, nutrients, light
    in the last 2 days the small spike started to dry off
    I don't know why
    Can I have your advice????
    Please!!!!!!!!!!

    They blast..it happens. You might check for thrips. When mine wither and brown it usually means thrips. But Vandas bloom several times a year. It will spike again

    I agree with Cathy. It probably wasn't anything you did. Sometimes spikes just fail for no apparent reason. I had a small vanda recently that had spikes fail three times in a row. I was ready to give up on it when it finally grew a spike that bloomed.
