Default Who Am I - dendrobium crumenatum?

I was given this yesterday by a friend who told me another friend of ours gave it to him and told him it was a Florida native. I'm pretty sure not. I know I've seen but I can't for the life of me remember. He has a massive clump of this stuff and it grows like a weed. Supposedly white flowers.

Cathy easy to grow and easy to flower with very strong fragrance especially early in the morning around 5 am immediately after it's open and begin to fade by late noon then waiting the next cycle.

Lucky you! I would like to find one to grow after I saw one in Borneo. Here is the flower.

Yes , Den crumenatum, one of our most common dendrobiums and is found everywhere. Locally called the Pigeon Orchid or Dove Orchid. The flowers are pure white and very fragrant, but last only a day and so are not commonly cultivated. I have a couple of pots of these : they just sprouted in the pots from wind-blown seeds.
