    I have had this plant only about 9 months and during its first winter it has completely defoliated. It has about 3 canes showing some green under the sheaths, and I have continues sparingly watering but see no new growth yet this spring. Isthis common for this plant....to lose all leaves? Is there anything that I should be doing or not doing to help it along? It has not bloomed for me but at this point I would be satisfied with some signs of growth.


    Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you might have for me.

    Very nice, Hailmi! The flowering spikes of these always reminds me of some exotic hyacinth.
