    Sticker shock with folks new to minis is common (and somewhat humorous to witness, IMO ). I remember when I first ventured into minis the "rude awakening". LOL Still can be almost embarrassing when I see a friend with their arms loaded with huge plants while all my acquisitions (for the same amount of $) are in a small paper lunch bag with room to spare.

    Great buy - the Phal lobii, I mean.

    Sorry to say. This is not a species. Just a hybrid. Looks like Phalaenopsis Luchia Lip.

    Phal Lobbi has very small flowers and flower spikes are very short unlike the one in photo. Below is the photo of phal lobbi. You can google it too.

    Cucu, the blooming phal in her photo is not the one she is saying is lobbii. Look at the tiny plant sitting at the very base of the blooming phal's pot. THAT is the one Xara said is Phal lobbii.
