Big, bold spots on that one!
Too bad that's a NOID, I really like it but will have to be lucky to find one similar! It's one of those crazy and cool flowers, very different.

That's funny. LOL I have quite a few also.
The spots are raised and kind of look like scabs. Not a very flattering term to use with orchid flowers. LOL

Thanks. I waited too long to take a picture. The lip already has dust on it. It's really dusty here, which sucks because I dislike cleaning leaves almost as much as I dislike repotting.
I have had a bolt of lightning hit me when I realized what NOID means!!!!
Most of my phals are NOID phals!
Very nice harlequin phal.
Great colors and I like spots. I also don't like repotting and I believe I have divided all of one Encyclia in the seven or more years of raising orchids.................AL
that has exceptional markings! i've seen some of its relatives probably in local grocery stores, but the spotting is a bit less and more towards the center of the flowers usually. one day when i see a better one like yours i will grab it. the raised spots are really weird. i have never noticed it on other colored phals before. hope you can find a name for it.
Hi, It looks similar to Phal Chang Yuan golden peoker, saw it at the orchid conference 2011 in Singapore.
