    Default spike from a bare bulb, Catasetum Penang

    i divided this ctsm penang, only to find a few months later it grew a spike and not a growth. it has no roots with it initially, but as the spike mature, two roots started to emerge from the bottom of the spike
    usually i do not recommend to keep a spike that emerge from a barebulb because it will use up much of the bulb reserve.
    however, curiosity kills a fish...i did it anyway. hehe
