    Default Grammatophyllum elegans

    The only non-slipper I got from the orchid show. It did have 2 spikes, the second one rotted

    I thought something was wrong when I saw the first opened flower, but the other flowers open normally. When I goggle online, it turns out that it's normal for this species to have the abnormal first flower.

    Not quite like any Grammatophyllum I've ever seen. Like that color, form, and sheen. AL
