This looks like a nice orchid. Based on where you live and the look of the flowers I guess it should be grown similar to most Aerides, or? Does it like more or less light? I will try to get a Cleisostoma.

lijun that is the most difficult question you asked me basically I'm not that sure why, I do agreed with you some of them are brownish color maybe it's related to the surrounding in other for their survival and adaptation, this color could be very attractive to the eyes of the insects on this region, they work together for many thousands years, that is my single cent theory maybe right or wrong.Thanks.

Thanks Arne you are correct similar like Aerides or Vandas well basically this monopodial they love high lights in their natural habitat, I gave more light in order to stimulate the spike formation unfortunately this species very slow growing as compared to other Cleisostoma and bloom once a year, I'm very happy you are looking this wonderful species which is native to South East Asia all the best.
