    Lovely flowers long lasting but I dont like the scent is not good at all first time blooming for me I decided to cross with A. lawrencia right now in buds.Is not free flowering under tropical low land.

    Wow. Looks awesome. The spur is in the right direction. I was told that mine is a hybrid as spur is facing backwards.

    What's wrong with the smell, Zain? Otherwise, it is a beautiful flower. Love that elaborate purple-splashed lip, looks like a carnation.

    The smell very odd and weird so irritating is not pleasant thanks Angel.

    Must have something to do with the type of insects nature has intended for it to attract, just like the carrion flower which attracts flies instead of bees.

    You are right but so far I never seen the insects came but can saw some activities as the pollen cap disappear maybe deeper in the shade. .
