Huge plant Nat
Thanks!
It is fragrant but mostly in the morning. Right now I don't smell anything.
I like the coloration and how dark the flower is. However, I am not very happy with this bloom. The plant bloomed first time one year ago, second time in November, both times with only one flower. It produced four nice growths two months ago but they all ceased blooming![]()
In general, the plant seems to be happy but it does not bloom as good as I counted on. I guess I should give it more food.
I took a few inside pics. The tile is one foot square, so you can measure how big the plant is.

oh baby I love all the crosses of aclandiae, had 2 ,but 1 has passed, I found them to be on the tricky side but perhaps that is me, your cross is beautiful love the lip color and the spots, any fragrance?
That is gorgeous! Love the look of it on wood...
Lovely dwarf catt but the flower so pretty Natali.
The flower is very Pretty!!!
Natalie, that is a very nice aclandiae! From what I can see, it was grown in perfect light. You might be right on the fertilizer but I wouldn't go crazy with it and give it too much.... maybe just an extra shot a couple times in the spring. I love the color on it and Ed is right - aclandiae and even its hybrids can be touchy. You wouldn't know it to look at your plant though. Congratulations on an excellant job on it!
