Oerstedella wallisii care

Just received one of the these and when I tried to remove packaging the plant fell out of pot. I know so far that it requires dryness between waterings but thats about it. Keeping in mind that I live in humid conditions, can any one tell me from their experience what are the recommendations for potting mix, lighting any temperature?Please! Please! Please!

I have one that came in bark and that is where it is today. And I give it phal conditions. So far mine has added new growths with this culture. It was not blooming size and was also out of its pot when I received mine. The seller out of Seattle seems to have that problem. But they import bare root, pot up and ship out.

Oerstedella does well mounted, or if potted it should dry out almost as fast as if it was mounted, so very open and airy mix. But they have thin leaves and not much ability to store water so they can't stay dry for long. That's probably the trickiest part. Phalaenopsis conditions, or I would say a bit brighter. No winter rest. High humidity. If they get low humidity and warmth they will attract every spider mite within 50 miles.
