    Smile Phal heiroglyphica

    I bought this phal in early July. It had begun to spike at that time although the spikes were very immature. But it was potted in sphag. So I did a re-pot to my bark mix. Hoping for the best.

    The spikes appear to have survived the re-pot, have developed buds and the buds are now opening.

    What a wonderful phal!! I had a cross with Phal heiroglyphica that froze during the polar vortex back in February. I hope to get another one at some point.

    Very pretty Harvey. I think it likes being repotted in bark.
