Here's my baby which I purchased at a local orchid club in April 2013. It grew nicely on my south facing balcony in summer, then it rested under lights during cold months.
This past summer it produced another chubby pb, and I started to hope that I could seen her bloom soon. So here we go.

Those must be very hard to get a good picture of with accurate color. Great job. I have wanted to try one of these, but have no idea what they require. How do you grow yours?

Hi Connie,
This is a species that gave me no hard time at all. I grow those with Catts in summer, my pretty hot and sunny balcony with lots of sunshine is their spot. I do apply fertilizers whatever is available at a garden store. They have no trouble growing, and only mites might attack occasionally. Unlike Catts, which behaved rather notoriously for me and wouldn't produce flowers, just sheath in some cases, these guys are more cooperative. I've got 2-3 other representatives of the catasetinae family and they are follow same happy pattern.
