    Default Philippine Dendrobium I bought in Naga in 2010

    Who am I?

    Trying to ID a Philippine Dendrobium I bought in Naga in 2010 and she only bloomed after moving it to lower elevations. Her inflorescence is only at the tip of her cane. Surely related to common Sanggumay.

    Looking for the local scientific name.

    A side profile picture might help. secundum is called a tooth brush orchid and the flowers are one sided.inflorescence is always on the top of the canes and is almost perpendicular to the stem.

    Could be a secundum and as Sriram suggests a profile picture would help. tanii flowers can occur anywhere along the length of the pseudobulb

    This looks like Dend. secundum red variety. Love the color on this one.
