What I got at the Miami Orchid show

I have to say the show was amazing! And although I promised myself not to acquire more than 3 orchids, I ended up with 5. And only 5 'cause I had my hubby with me, who by the fifth orchid told me: " That's it! we are leaving!!"
But I was able to get the plants on my list which was the important thing to do.
Note to self: Leave husband at home next show

Nice acquisition, I go for those antelopes, that one's lovely.

I sure do envy you that trip to the Miami show, I used to go nearly every year (sans hubby *lol) when we lived in south Fl.

Wow! What the name of the Dend? She's a beauty!

I'm envious - the NH Orchid Show didn't have a very exotic choice of plants for sale. Predominantly Phals, with a bunch of ho hum Paphs.

What's considered the biggest/best show in the country? I went to the NY show back in the early 90's and that was spectacular. I'd guess Miami is one of the best. How does it compare to the others around the country?

The Show was REALLY good! I've never been to one outside South Florida, so I'm not sure how it would compare to other shows around the country.
