Terminal spike on phal cornu-cervi

Hello to all,
so with my recent orchid shopping spree i got more questions for experienced grower.
Here we go, i bought this cornu-cervi red because of it flower color. I did see (clearly) that it has spike from the top of the crown but it didn't ring the bell that time that it terminal spike (just found this term on the web after googling) and its not really good. So is it really true its the end of the mother plant and all is left just hope for keiki?!

not seen this on cornu-cervi. no worries, it looks healthy, it should certainly produce basal keiki

Normally this plant won't grow at the terminal end any more, but keikis will soon appear.

I'm positive it will appear when the condition is ok all the best this is really a nice clone.

How did you go with this orchid? Did a keiki appear?

Nope no keiki, it flowers, grows roots but no sign of keiki

if the Phal is healthy, it would produce keiki., we would have to be very patient in this situation. May be you can cheer the plant when you water it every time
