Encyclia Cochleata - Strange yellow spots....?

Had this little guy for about three-four months now and it seems to be developing these strange yellow spots. I'm hoping it's not a virus and something that can be cured if possible. For now I'm not letting it touch any of the plants it's near.

Can somebody help me identify what this may be?

What do the back of the leaves look like? I am not an expert at all on diseases/ailments so I am not able to answer the question. I am eager to learn on this too!

It looks just like the top, but the yellow spots are faintly seen from under the leaves.

if it is not present in every leaf and especially in newer leaves,I would say it could be a fungal infection. Treat it for a fungal infection with a clearys 3366 and observe the new leaves and whether it is spreading

It almost looks like the early stages of Odontoglossum ringspot virus. If so, these spots will become necrotic. There's little information that I can find about treatment and you should definitely isolate the plant and sterilize all of your tools so that you don't transmit the virus to other plants. Maybe someone has experience with this virus.

Odd, I do have an Odontoglossum, but it doesn't show any problems. However, I'll check it over again to make sure.. Thanks for the information, I'll look out for this and do more research for it to see what'll happen in the coming months.

This virus does not just effect Odontoglossums, and I've read that encyclias in nurseries are some of the most heavily infected. If it is ringspot, unfortunately, I don't think you'll have to wait months.
