    Default Gastrochilus calceolaris

    as you can see, I don't know how to focus at multiple depths; and this species' flowers are recessed under the foliage. The feathered lip sticks straight out from the rest of the flower so it's hard to get both in focus, thus the multiple photos.

    Gastrochilus is an underrated genus. very nicely grown Daniel.

    Thank you! I'm very happy with it. And the grower I got it from threw in another one, in double spike, for free when I got some more plants from him, so I should have an update to this thread in a couple months or so.

    I love the feathery lip.
