Phalaenopsis - flower spike or keiki?

Hi! I've had this phalaenopsis for about 6 months. It didn't looked well when I got it, it barely had alive roots and some leaves were kind of yellow. With patience, care and fertilizer it got much better. A couple of days ago I noticed something started to grow in the orchid, but I don't know if it might be a flower spike or a basal keiki, or maybe it's too early to say. What do you guys believe?

I'd say its a keiki and it actually looks like your plant is a keiki and that grey stump is the original plant.

Maybe spike as the temperature dropped I'm positive 90% maybe I'm wrong too.

You're right, the orchid is actually a keiki from a previous plant that suffered crown rot.

We're on the dry season right now, the temperatures at night till dawn oscillates around 59-65ºF in my city. During the day it goes up to 77ºF most of the time.

Looks more like an inflorescence than a keiki, but it is really too soon to tell for sure.
