    Default Phal NOID

Looks like I don't have the name right at all! I'll have to add it to my NOID collection... I was sure it had a name... I don't know if I can change the title or not! I still love the crisp contrast of the spots.

It is lovely! I like the contrast between the crisp white and the intensely colored lip.

There are so many Phalaenopsis hybrids around. However, I listened to a talk by Nancy Mountford the other day about Phalaenopsis hybrids. If you actually want to narrow down what the name could be you could ask an expert like her. You can also decide to just enjoy the flowers. I have the prettiest Tolumnia ever so I did exactly that, I just enjoyed the flowers.

Yes, generally I just enjoy the flowers, but I was pretty sure I had a name tag for that one! I will have to locate my orchid notebook in which I have all the names and pictures of them and all their info, and then I will know if its really a NOID or not. I like buying ones with names, as I often buy from the "out of bloom" rescue table and its nice to know if I'm getting, red, pink, white, spotted, etc... and there are some particular Phals that I really like and will get their offspring if I see them! Otherwise, it doesn't make a lot of difference.
