    Friendly visitor in Vanda grow area. Noticing him/her for the past couple of days and seem to quiet happy between the Vandas

    I found a half-dozen egg cases in my back yard, and moved a few into my greenhouse, thinking that I had hit the jackpot in insect eradication.

    Let me tell you, it is NO FUN when a thousand tiny mantises jump on you!

    My son was telling me I should order a couple of egg cases to possibly help with the mosquitos. What do you all think? By the way, he's beautiful too Sriram!

    I don't think they go after flying insects...

    Yes...bit lazy movers but I have seen them munching on a grasshopper and a moth once. I am told females are much bigger than males and females eat the males too.
