Gosh, it's so beautiful! Delicate coloring.... beautiful!
*Ungh* is all i can say. GIMME!!
I'm So Bummed!!!! Your Grande is soooo much prettier than mine. Petals longer too... course mine was a first bloom.
Please, please tell me yours is a "old reliable"..... please......
Your Grande is indeed beautiful.Mine is OK. After I bloomed mine, I was so disappointed that the petals were so short!
I am planning to donate this plant to the orchid society this year!
Cheers. Hoa.
I am not sure how 'reliable' it is, but it is an older plant. It is in a very large pot compared to most of our phrags and has several growths. I don't remember the last time it bloomed, so I am not sure when that was.Originally Posted by Diane
This year our phrags have bloomed much better for us than in the past. I think it is partly because during the winter months this year, unlike those of the past, we pulled the shade cloth on the GH back and exposed the south end to as much light as possible. This is where the phrags live. They all seem to look very healthy and are blooming. The initial light difference made some plants turn very light green for awhile, but now they look normal again. It seemed to really boost the phrags though. (That is my theory anyway)
Thanks for looking!
