Would love to add this species in my collection but because it is a "gigantea", kind of intimidating and would need a lot of patience to grow it.

I agree with you but dont worry you can use the "drift wood" to attach the plant base on my experience it's flowered several times under my care previously.

I have just purchased 10 of these, any tips that you can share?

The species come from lowland area definitely require high humidity and temperature too. Slow growing when in the seedlings stage but subsequently will be very fast once the plant already established. Based on my observation he doesn't like pots as a growing media especially in lowland but do well when you attach to the tree barks. Watch up for the "weevil" as this creatures may kill the plant and leading to the secondary fungal infection.
