    Default Paph. Vanda M. Pearman

    I just ordered one from a vendor. Would like to know if anyone here has had experiences with it, or if you are an expert at it.

    Pics of any that you have had is a plus!!! Thanks.

    I read that this is a cross between P. bellatulum and P. delenatii????

    easy growing. even moisture, not too wet, but don't let it dry out. it is much more tolerant than bellatulum but still would appreciate pure water (which is not a problem in NYC). bright filtered light.

    Ok, so I got this one to experiment with. Im gonna try and grow it in my 29 gallon viv. Im gonna avoid watering it directly. Its not planted deeply in the rock planter that you see in the pics, its just loosly placed on top. Hopefully that way it will get all the water and air it needs.
    But isnt it perty!

    I love the mottled-leaf Paphs! Since we look at the foliage most of the year, they provide a nice soothing variety to plain green.

    For that matter, my new Psychopsis (it's versteegianum) has pretty funky mottling. Different than Paphs, but quite cool. Is that common to all Psychopsis?

    Where is the psychosis queen? Oops - sorry! Meant the Psychopsis queen...

    I resemble that remark!!!! Actually not all psychopsis have mottled leaves, the Kahili has solid, dark green leaves, the mendenhall has mottled green color leaves, the papilio and versteegianum have what I call 'rust' mottled leaves, light green with rust color mottling.

    Yeah, rust mottled would be an apt description of what I have. Funny they're not the same, or closely so, throughout the genus.
