Over the last few weeks I have been going out to "the field" to learn about botany, but on the way, we come across and talk a little about reptiles and amphibians.
So here are some of the guys we have come across:
Some sort of black water snake(sorry don't know much about these)
I couldn't believe my luck when I actually saw this little guy, and caught it, Pseudacris crucifer(Hyla crucifer) Spring Peeper.
Rana clamitans, green frog (Not to be confused by the Bull frog) this is a gravid female.
Bull frog Tadpoles:
A Baby Snapping Alligator
A red eared slider
A two lined salamander Eurycea bislineata, this was pretty cool (we found 5 of these in one little brook, under stones.
All the animals were quickly released after their photo expose.
