One More Sharry Baby Should I repot?

This is how my Sharry Baby Sweet Fragrance looks today. This is one of the plants I bought from __________ and it has a total of 6 spikes. The tallest spike is 36 inches tall. It is really overgrown in its pot with lots of roots outside the pot. Should I wait until it is through blooming before repotting it? I have been watering it every other day. Too much or too little?

My understanding is that it unless there is an orchid emergency (root rot, etc) it is better to wait until the plant is done blooming. Otherwise you risk losing the flowers. I'm no expert, though, so anyone else have some advice?

By the way, what a beautiful plant!

HOLY VEAL, Batman! Look at those roots!!!

That big a plant, in bloom, with those many aerial roots will want more water. You're watering schedule is fine for now. Once it's repotted, after it's finished blooming, the new media will hold moisture longer and the plant won't need quite so much (because it doesn't need to support the flowers), so I'd cut it back then.
