    Beautiful serpentine blooms! The color is amazing in that light against the black backdrop!

    No color filter, no ring flash, no photoshopping.

    Only a digital camera and three lamps. Just instinct, and close to 200 shots before a few were chosen.

    Well the hard work paid off - it's a gorgeous set of photos!

    In the first pic, there's a horizontal green line about 1" below the pot level. I wondered if that was a lighting artifact, which is the only reason I asked about filters. Is it a root growing along the outside of the pot?
