    Beautiful!! Is it some type of Maxillaria? I just bought a Max. sophronitis that has similar characteristics, but I don't think yours is a soph. Good luck.

    New to me also, but then I don't get to see many orchids except in pictures.

    Those are tree fern fibers in the background - that's a little mite of a plant!

    What a neat little plant! For a moment I was confused at the number of petals and sepals etc etc.... until I realised that labellum spans the whole flower up and down... very very cool and needs to go on the wish list!
