Dendrobium with Ants

I have a dendrobium hanging basket and the ants are getting into it. Do you have a solution for getting rid of the ants

Most hardware and big box stores carry an item call an ant guard. It is usually sold for use with hummingbird feeders, but can be used with any hanging item. The inside is coated with a ant repellant. Be sure to water the plant thoroughly to flush out the ants present, then hang the plant back up with the ant guard between the plant and the hook.
