Cattleya Indoors or Outdoors?

Okay, so I know there are Cattleyas that should be kept indoors, but I'm not sure which ones do better there. I recently purchased a Laelia catt, are they high sun, med sun....do they like it hotter or colder?
I tried finding this online but just kept finding pretty plants for sale. lol

All hybrids are really different in their lighting requirements. For instance, C. warscewiczii can take almost full sun in mild climates while L. pumila will bloom happily in Phalaenopis light levels.

What I usually do with all cattleyas is gradually work up the light levels until the leaves start to yellow and then I back off to find a happy medium. It takes practice and a month or so of observation, but it's really the easiest and only way I know of.

Remember that all native catts grow outdoors. If I lived in florida, my catts would be outside in a shadehouse except for hurricanes and freezes....
