Red Vanda

Can anyone help me id this vanda? It is an older one. We have had it for at least 12 years. The tag faded out in the sunlight and I can not see anything except for the "V." I had to climb up to the tip top of the ght to cut this spike off to photograph it.

I have no idea, BD...but I doubt it's straight Vanda.

It looks like a well shaped Renanthera-Vanda hybrid. A Renantanda maybe?

The closest thing I can find on-line is something called 'Azacoff'



I don't see the yellow/orange in this one though. I sure hope we can identify it again.

Tami. You would have to buy the house and greenhouse. That guy is so big now he has grown to become a fixture in the GH. He is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Oh yes, you are right Clint. I just meant that the only thing on the tag was "V." It could be Vanda x 'something' that has even been named by now. Who knows!?!
