Default A cart with light fixtures?

I am looking for a growing cart with light fixtures already attached to it. I've been looking for a 3 or 4 tired cart, but have been having a terrible time find anything. Anyone know any good online sites with these?

hey, I'm curious why you want a pre-made cart thingy. (ok, shop lights are ugly... but they are cheap.)

    Default Light Cart

I use the shelf units that you can get from a box store that are used for storage, and then buy the shop lights and hang them from the shelves. This set up is much less expensive, I have had great luck with this set up.

I agree, My light cart, I bought from boxstore and put shop lights up. Everything is doing great. I have 4 bulbs (2 shop lights per shelf) with one warm white and one cool white bulb per fixture.

Any chance of getting a picture of your light carts? When you get a chance. Traci and I would love to see them (putting words in Traci's mouth).

Trust me, I would do that, but Kevin doesn't want anything like that. He is really funny about things, and it told me it would look to 'shop-y'. It is in the kitchen so it is highly visible.

Thanks for the links. I want a premade cart because I need to keep the space I use contained. My house is very small(very very very small), there are no extra rooms (except for a closet I *might* be able to use). But really, I have to keep a small area to grow. If I have a cart, I know exactly how to utilize my space.

Traci, if I didn't have my HID light (which requires special considerations regarding heat build-up and humidity), I'd buy this fluorescent setup in a heartbeat.

    Check it out:

Pricey, yes, but good-looking and flexible. Get two!

John, ugh. For $500 Traci and I could both fly you to our homes where you could analyze our growing areas and build each of us a light cart. That doesn't even include shipping, I'm sure. I wish we were handy!

Well you could, but I think the light cart would be a much better investment !

I'm handy in the since of being able to do stuff like building a simple bench, but I don't enjoy it at ALL. And I certainly wouldn't want to have to tackle something like a double-tiered light cart, that's for sure.

So for a one-time thing, I'd cough up the bucks for the thing, if I had a place to put it! Just think of all those happy paphs !!

It's depressing to be out of orchid room
