    Question phal brother sara gold vs phal brother girl

    I am considering purchasing either a phal brother sara gold 'peach' or a phal brother girl 'brother'. I have never actually ever seen either one of them, only pictures of the flowers. (They are both beautiful.) Can anyone tell me what the difference is in the flowers, like size of the flowers, substance, how long they last etc.? Also, if you are familiar with both of them, which one would YOU pick?

    I just got a P.Brother Sara Gold as a freebie. I don't know anything about it. Mine is small in a 2.25 pot. I will be following this thread with interest. BTW, what color is the Sara Gold?

    Ok. Since no one gave me an opinion on which one was better, I ordered both of them. I am running out of space! Linda, in the pictures I have seen of the Brother Sara Gold, they are yellow with pink in the center.

    I like my Sara Gold because mine has a light fragrance when in bloom, and the flowers last so long.

    It's old Scottish - the family motto. It means "Touch not the cat but a- gloved" In other words, don't mess with the cat unless you are prepared to get slashed by it. The family crest had a Scottish Wild Cat (now extinct) on it.

    That's a cool motto. I am from the south so if I had to come up with a family motto it would probably be: "IF MAMA AIN'T HAPPY, AIN'T NOBODY HAPPY". That's probably what my husband is thinking when I keep buying new orchids.
