I bought this little gem in London last April. Soon after I got a fogger unit to which I add a tiny amount of fertilizer once a week. I hope that the new growth is a flower spike, but whatever it is I'm happy it's growing.

Steve. is your fogger an ultrasounic unit? If yes, I wouldn't add fertilizer to the water. The fertilizer is made up of different salts and these are going to precipitate out onto the ultrasound disc and shorten it's life. You will also end up with a fine coating of fertilizer dust on everything.

Looks like a growth but fingers crossed for spike.
