    Default Dendrobium chrystotoxum

    a SE Asian species with fragrant 2" flowers that last 2 - 3 weeks. I have it mounted on a cork slab in Catt light.

    I bought one of these at the beginning of January, but mine hasn't bloomed this year. I think it didn't get enough light this winter, as I understand that to bloom these they need a really bright winter.

    Geoffrey it needs bright, warm and a dryer winter rest. Mine is var suavissimum. So, if yours is not, don't expect the dark eye.
