I cannot BELIEVE I've done this....but today I bumped into my phal and broke the pod off the stem.
This pod has grown rather large and is only 2 months old. Is is too soon/immature to send off to be sown?

If it is only two month old, I don't think it will be viable. Anyone else?
Sorry, Doodle. What a bummer.
Cheers,

I'm so bummed.
I agree. Eight weeks is a bit young. Sorry!
Oh man -- that is such a bummer. I was hoping you could still manage to get some viable seeds, but it sounds like the expert opinion is that that is unlikely.
Sorry,it is to young . Gin
ho shi........
im so sory for you man-if it comfers you-once i cut the steem wille it was holding a pod of 2 difrent zigo`s hybrid-from that day i mark my polinated plants and allways put in a safe place
Thank you everyone. There is one redeeming factor; I have 3 more phals and 2 dend pods growing very nicely. I think I will take Kfirs advice and mark them to protect them from MYSELF!!!!!
Now if I could just get myself set up to sow the seeds myself I'd be ecstatic!!!!!
