    Smile Rhytionantho sp

    Native to Malaysia . Flowers similar like R. Plumatum as depicted by RON recently.This one the flowers about 8 to 10 inches which is deep red in color with the surfaces uneven. I hope you enjoy this photos.

    That is beautiful! It looks like velvet curtains; so elegant! If you know then name of this one, please post it. I want to add it to my collection! It is stunning!

    Jay does identify this as R. plumatus, but that name isn't accepted by Kew. The accepted name at Kew is Bulbophyllum plumatum.

    IPNI (International Plant Names Index) has both listed, but I never can figure out which one is the accepted name on their website.
