I tried to get a close-up of the flowers but did not succeed with my auto digital.
I really need a d-slr.
The spike can be over a foot long on this species.

It OK Ron. Probably now is the time to get D-SLR personally you are very important person in this forum since I saw alots of orchids species in your collection. I love your photos especially Bulb specie that I dont have I really feel great that you share for us. Congrats.
