    Default Zygocolax 'Rhein Blue'

    I don't know the breeding on this one. The tag says Zygocolax 'Rhein Blue'

    The first part would be zygopetalum, the second part???? Anyone Anyone? lol And may I just say, Wow, cool cross!!

    Zygopetalum x Colax but actually Zygocolax has been replaced by Zygopabstia [Zba.] I believe...damn taxonomists

    It's beautiful, Ron..

    I've noticed that most Zygopetalums look almost alike. Therefore, I would hypothesize that out of all the orchids, these have the least amount of genetic variation. I wonder if that has been proven true?

    That is so true. I noticed this also. They do seem the most 'visually' similar between different crosses. Anyone know?

    Beautiful blooms, Ron. I suppose they are fragrant as well?

    I have been doing some breeding so having that info is needed for that. With my Type B personality and it takes quite a bit to get me angry
