I have had paphs that do that too. Next bloom it will be fine. Not sure why some do not open and develop correctly. I think it has to do with water, but that is a guess.

Doesn't look quite right but the pouch color is beautiful, very promising for the next one ...
I think its cool, sometimes abnormalities ar e the most interesting!!

it looks like it wants to keep water out of it's pouch, so it has a shed roof. I have seen quite a few anomalies over the years but this one is a first for me.
It's just doing the macarana in slow motion! lol Nice coloring...

The fun of growing Paphs, looks more like P.barbatum though.
odd development, I've never seen a flower twist like that.
My first time hearing of Paph Johorensis
P. johorensis is another name for P. bullenianum. The pic above is neither.
if you mention bullenianum then, I agree. It can't be one
