i was wondering if someone cold show in picture step by step how to get a seed pod on an orchid i feel so stupid not being able to figure this out

Have you any orchid books,because most have a section on how to initiate a seed pod.

Most of us don't take photos along the way...at least, not that I know of. You'd be best to look in a book on orchid breeding or something like that.
The only stupid questions are the ones you never ask. When you log in to Orchidtalk, click on Orchid Forum Catagories, scroll down to Breeding and Hybridization and click on it. You can look thru the queries for the genus you are interested in pollinating.

Bob Gordon's book on phallies has a good chapter on hybridizing and is a very entertaining read.
