Looks like something that should be sitting on my front porch enjoying the rain tonight. hehe I'm loving these encyclia types. Thanks for the tongue twister to add to my collection. My neighbors say half the names sound like dinosaurs...i'm guessing they would love this one! lol Thanks for sharing!
nice find! How many species do you currently have in this genus?
Glad to give you another fun name to try on your neighbors. I wish it would rain more at my house...its been much too dry. Do you have any encyclia orchids in your collection?Looks like something that should be sitting on my front porch enjoying the rain tonight. hehe I'm loving these encyclia types. I knew someone would ask me this one day and yet I am unprepared to answer...lol. I need to go count. I counted that I have about 85 orchids total in my collection but am not sure how many are encyclia or encyclia crosses.... I will find out and let you know! How many species do you currently have in this genus?

OK Shann. I have a question too. Where are you finding all these beauties? I would like to go there and find some for my yard. I am finding some too but when I check the total is......![]()
I get them all over...the two I posted today that are out of bloom I got at an orchid show. If you ever want vendor names for a particular orchid I post I can PM it to you.Where are you finding all these beauties?
I know that vendor had to dig around to find those for me but he really came through with the Encyclia's for me.

it can be fun collecting within one genus. I even saw an Enc species at my local boxstore today
I try keeping tract of my collection in Excel...I can even have a column for links to my pics of it, date purchased, from where, cost, culture, ect
You sound much more organized than me! I have found two very nice orchids at one of my box stores...the other one just lets them all die. I do prefer encyclias over all my other orchids but there are always some dends, schombs, catts, and such that when I see I must have!
